Presidents Message
Hello and welcome to our web page.
If you have an interest in everything green, then you have come to the
right place. At Port Macquarie Garden Club you can be sure of a warm
welcome, a shared interest, and a club that also likes to socialize.
The motto of Garden Clubs Australia with which we are affiliated, is
"Friendship through Gardening", and we enthusiastically follow this
mantra. A green thumb is not a necessary prerequisite, just a love
of flowers, shrubs and greenery.

What we do
On the 2nd Tues of every month we meet at the Salvation Army Hall; 110
Lord St Port Macquarie at 1.15 pm. Visitors very welcome.
- for a guest speaker.
- a trading table.
- a floral display.
- address members gardening questions.
On the 3rd Tues we:
- visit a local nursery or
- visit a local garden or
- have morning tea.
This months activities
Next meeting: Tuesday, 9th June at 1.15 and our guest speaker
is our great friend Mal Mckinley. First on the agenda will be
a special meeting where we will vote on the adoption of the Fair Trading
Model Constitution. Please all members try to attend a your vote counts!
Next outing: 16th June. This month we are going to have a morning
tea at Sea Acres at 10.30am. This is always a delightful time of
companionship so do plan to come along. Advance notice of our
special Friendship Day to be held in September 25th. It will be a Friday,
starting at 9.00am and finishing about 2.00. The day will include a
number of fabulous speakers, morning tea and lunch, and lots of fun and
prizes to be won. These days have been really terrific and well
attended so do put this in your diary as a must do.
